OK.- so after 10½ years I am going to keep this brief, after a few minor problems with oil, water, and fuel leaks we are now FINISHED and READY to go for M.O.T..
She's just like an emerging butterfly.
It's been fun, very expensive and damned hard work. We hope you like HER as much as we do!!CONGRATULATIONS are in order as CDK172L PASSED HER M.O.T.. Today 23 April 2015
The smile on his face says it all - (PASSED) just waiting for the paper work.
Well CDK 172L is on the Road Legally all we need now is the Road Tax and even that is proving to be a small problem within DVLA, who have previously issued Registration Documents and tax Disc but say that the vehicle is not as old as we say it is. Good job Steven saved old documentation regarding Chassis No and when body was fitted etc. A copy of these have been sent to them. We await with baited breath. Oh the joys!! of bus restoration even last to the finish line.April 28th - just in, hot of the press:-Notice for The Centenary Yelloway Weekend which will take place on Saturday 4th July 10am to 5pm @ The Esplanade, Rochdale.
