The restoration of AEC Reliance CDK172L
Project Dairy March/April 2015
Spring - March / April 2015
OK.- so after 10½ years I am going to keep this brief, after a few minor problems with oil, water, and fuel leaks we are now FINISHED and READY to go for M.O.T..
Double Click on each one to enlarge the pictures.
It's been fun, expensive and damned hard work. We hope you like HER as much as we do!!
The smile on his face says it all - (PASSED) just waiting for the paper work.
Well CDK 172L is on the Road Legally all we need now is the Road Tax and even that is proving to be a small problem within DVLA, who have previously issued Registration Documents and tax Disc but say that the vehicle is not as old as we say it is. Good job Steven saved old documentation regarding Chassis No and when body was fitted etc. A copy of these have been sent to them.
We await with baited breath. Oh the joys!! of bus restoration even last to the finish line.
